FT Social Media/Marketing Coordinator

Job description

Join our family-owned, third generation retail business with a long history of customer service. We are looking for a strategic Social Media/Marketing Coordinator to provide brand continuity and cultivate growth. The ideal candidate must align with our company’s core values, which are trustworthiness, honesty, being a team player, and showing respect to both internal and external customers. This person will be part of a very small marketing team, and will have a focus in social media strategy but also be expected to contribute to traditional and other digital media advertisements as well. A successful candidate will know how to engage people, leverage monitoring tools for insights and align their work with our brand’s goals. To be considered for this exciting opportunity, we need a highly motivated individual with thorough attention to detail and a passion for customer service. Marketing experience is highly preferred, but not required.

Samples of past work will be expected.

Responsibilities

  • Create strategic social media content plans with objectives that value growth and strong ROI
  • Adhere to marketing budget and manage applicable invoices
  • Communicate with followers, respond to queries in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
  • Create campaigns that align with sales goals and events for a variety of media outlets, including print, digital, social media, radio, and tv
  • Monitor campaign success
  • Plan/execute in-store sales and events

FT/PT Sales Associates (Duluth)

Job description
We are looking for a Retail Sales Associate to provide excellent customer service. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify client needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and direct customers
  • Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
  • Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
  • Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
  • Cross-sell products
  • Ensure racks are fully stocked
  • Manage returns of merchandise
  • Coordinate with the Retail Sales Associates team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
  • Inform customers about discounts and special offers
  • Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
  • Stay up-to-date with new products/services
  • Schedule may include some weekends and/or holidays

FT/PT Freight Handler (Duluth, Grand Rapids)

Job description
We are looking for a Freight Handler to help get products that are shipped to our store unboxed, properly received, and ready to merchandise efficiently. Candidates who are computer savvy and self-motivated with strong attention to detail will stand out.

Responsibilities

  • Must be able to bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and stoop without difficulty
  • Unload freight from incoming shipments
  • Match incoming products to purchase orders
  • Inspect freight for damage
  • Enter necessary data into computer
  • Maintain clean and organized environment, including breaking down boxes, sorting recycling and taking out trash, adherence to strict filing standards
  • Assist with projects and performs other duties as assigned
  • Ability to fluently read, speak, and write English to complete necessary paperwork and communicate with supervisors and co-workers.
  • Schedule may include some weekends and/or holidays
