April 7 – First Friday Artwalk (GR Only)
Benders in Grand Rapids will be hosting local baking artist, Josie Hughes. Josie is a home baker from Deer River; she started decorating cookies 4 years ago for family and friends. She has since started taking custom orders and has turned a hobby into a sweet little business. Find Josie (and maybe order some special cookies!!) in Benders Grand Rapids from 4pm – 6pm.
April 12-22 – Benders 50th Anniversary Event
50 years ago, Angie and Roland Bender opened Benders Shoes, a sit-and-fit full service shoe store. Now in its third generation of owners, we’ve seen lots of changes over the years, like adding men’s and women’s clothing and fun gifts, but it has been wonderful to see the business grow and become more embedded in the community. Join us in the celebration of 50 years of Benders. There will be store-wide discounts, drawings, giveaways and more!
